Flathead Industries Production Area, Rag Barn and Senior's    

An extremely important aspect of Flathead Industries work services program is our unique combination of options for the more medically, behaviorally, and chronologically challenged adults with developmental disabilities.

Michelle Pellett is the Manager of the three facilities. Her schedule is 8am to 4pm Monday through Friday, and can be reached at 406-755-7656, extension 245.

The Production Area offers a combination of life skill building, exercise opportunities, community integration possibilities, and daily work options. Some of the work options include towel folding, part assembly, rag cutting, paper shredding, janitorial work, and community based employment options. Located in Flathead Industries Corporate office building complex, a staff person is available to take your call Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm at 406-755-7656, extension 248.

Flathead Industries Senior's Area is an available option for our aging population of adults with developmental disabilities that have chosen to retire or have shortened work hours. Arts, crafts and special events [many involving food and hot chocolate] highlight the Senior's Area. They also regularly take field trips, shopping excursions, and other community outings. A staff person can be reached in Senior's from 7:30 am to 1pm Monday through Friday at 406-755-7656 extension 246.

The Rag Barn is another wonderful option for many of our adults with disabilities, particularly the individuals that are ultra-sensitive to noise or confusion. The Rag Barn offers many of the same opportunities that we have in the Production Area with the additional benefit of seclusion and quiet. The Rag Barn is a gifted and renovated space from a family with a son in our services. It is located on Church Drive five miles north of Kalispell and a staff person may be reached Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm at 406-257-4601.
